NYC Inspiration bucket list for YOU
Please do take an elevator to the top floor and work your way down. That is how Frank Lloyd Wright intended (according to Roman Mars in the free Bloomberg powered app here). I personally find top floor down more mesmerizing than ground floor up. Dear Roman, I am a Lloyd originalist.
When you look down from the beautiful handrail, you see museum goers and the brilliance of the whole structure from a God’s eye view. It was a moment to behold. Trust me, top floor down, my dear!
C.O. Bigelow the oldest apothecary in the country.
Founded in 1838 and continually provides the world a wonderful lineup of practical and nostalgic goods. If you want a taste of history, visit Bigelow and take in the wonderful atomosphere, try out some of their legendary salves.
I got the Cherry blossom Rose edition that is heavenly. The scent reminds me of the wonderful afternoon tea I’ve had in Childhood, celebrating spring with the most wonderful savouries and scones at TWG.
Transportation
Megabus: ticket price increase on the same day. 1 dollar ticket available if book around a month in advance.
Amtrak: student price available if book one day in advance. I find if i book my amtrak ticket around a week in advance, it is a lot more affordable.
